UFO Mugs - Remove the Stigma – Let’s Talk UFOs
Featuring original art inspired by a propaganda prompt from a 2D design class.
We are not alone! Let’s talk about this!
Start the conversation and remove the stigma with this bold UFO coffee mug featuring my original artwork—hand-painted in acrylic and photographed by me for high-quality printing. This design is inspired by the iconic propaganda posters from the Works Progress Administration (WPA), giving a vintage touch to a modern message.
I personally love starting the "U.F.O." conversation with anyone and everyone, and that's what inspired me to create this eye-catching mug! Through conversation and sharing ideas we can shape a greater understanding of our reality. The more we talk about it, the clearer it becomes that there’s so much more than meets the eye!
🛸 “It’s time to shine the light on UFO facts, history, and transparency. Remove the stigma. Let’s talk UFOs.”
What inspired these works?
On runs or walks, I always glimpse some magical creature flashing by on the side of the road. They are mainly in the shadows, blending in with the surroundings but still catch my eye as they radiate a strong energy and presence, often feeling like a sign or a message. I love interpreting those connections and adding that to my day. These paintings bring me back to the moments I had the privilege of witnessing these animals in action. They are often there if you look closely, and they deserve our attention.
The light inspires me, shining through the trees and the chaos of the forest's growth, creating different feelings depending on the time of day. I am drawn to the repetitive patterns found in nature and the variety of colors one tree can have. I’ve recently been exploring greens, finding new color combinations that remind me of all the scenes from where I travel on foot for deep thinking, peace of mind, and in hopes of seeing wildlife here in central Virginia.
These works were also very much influenced by my favorite painting by Katayama-Bokuyo entitled "Forest" from 1928. It's on my life list to see this painting at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and we can visit it together here by clicking the link below!

"From Her Hands" - Showcasing women artists in our local community.
What a fun show! I had a great time being a part of Teeny Tiny Trifecta - 2024 at Second Street Gallery in Charlottesville, VA.
I recently returned to college after a nearly 16-year break and am pursuing an Associate’s in Arts through online courses—slowly but surely. These classes have fueled a love for art history and my existing passion and curiosity about human history. As an artist, I have always been self taught, never fully realizing what I didn't know, which has been eye opening and inspiring. These last two years I focused on art history, ancient history, and 2D design, deepening my understanding of the art world and its origins. I'm grateful to be a part of it.
